What is an
ECOSYSTEM
FORESIGHT PROJECT
At the EDHEC FIT chair we select each year an industry hit by disruptive change. With around 5-10 core partners we run a foresight project that explores how the industry might look like in 5-10 years (scenarios), we then utilize advanced foresight tools to identify and monitor key drivers of change. With our strategic playbox method we create a framework for discussing industry and mapping different alternative strategies. See here the list of past topics and the candidates for the next year.

EDHEC STUDENT
AGAINST THE CRISIS
In response to the Covid-19 crisis the EDHEC Chair for Foresight, Innovation and Transformation (FIT) supported the EDHEC Students Against the Crisis Initiative in which 33 student volunteers helped ten business to develop recovery scenarios and re-imagine their business models. With over 1000 work hours the initiative supported companies of different sizes, countries and industries, including Lufthansa from Germany, Strabag from Austria and Côté Nature a local chain of garden centres in the North of France
INDUSTRY
FORESIGHT PROJECTS
When transformational waves, like digitalization, the circular economy or the energy transition are building we use strategic foresight to anticipate their impact on existing industries. Past consortia projects include topics such as Blue Growth in the maritime industry, the Hydrogen Economy, the Circular Economy, or the Digital Transformation.
